Polypropylene (PP) is a soft plastic material, more resistant to breakage, but less against scratches. ABS is very hard and therefore more resistant to industrial dishwashers, but may break if they ring too far joyfully.
PP is dishwasher to 50 degrees and ABS is dishwasher to 70 degrees.
